Happy New Year!

You are invited to a 3-Day Event at Oak Hill Chapel. Please plan to come and invite others!

Friday, April 1st — Spring Challenge

Saturday, April 2nd — Worldview Day

Sunday, April 3rd — Open House & Community Outreach Day

We have a full schedule planned for each day, but feel free to come for all or part of the events. Our theme is “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). The Open House & Community Outreach Day will be hosted by French Village church of Christ. This congregation meets at the Chapel on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Here at Oak Hill Chapel, our mission is to raise awareness about pro-life issues, the truth of creation, and the need to understand God’s Word.

2011 Blessings upon you and your family. May your year be focused on the Lord and His mighty work. From our family to yours.

We are excited about Spring of 2011. It is a time of celebration for us as a family. Our parents Calr and Dorothy Painter would have been extremely excited about the event planned on April 1-3.

The Painter and Leftridge family spent their Thanksgiving and New Year’s holidays working endless hours to prepare for this event. This was a mission work holiday time for them to prepare a place to hold meetings to do the Lord’s mighty work. This is the family’s 10th year of what we call our “Noah’s Ark Project.” We are excited to share it with you.

2010 was a sad year for us in one way. We did not have any creation meetings.

Our family missed them, our children see the need for them as they face the 3-hour agonizing videos in college about evolution. As one child said, previous generations brought us into this, but this generation sees that something is terribly wrong with the story they are being told. They want to know the Truth. That is great, but it is just a start. We all need to work together to bring forth the Truth and proclaim how it applies to every aspect of our lives. That is what worldview training is all about. As the Scripture states, the Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). In 2011, we challenge you to become one of the few that is willing to take time out to get educated about the Lord’ wonderfully made creation.

Mark your calendar, bring your young people in the church and from your family.

Bring yourself and a friend for the Challenge, or for the entire weekend event. God is good. And He is asking are you willing? He will prepare the way if we just say, I am ready and willing to serve you, Lord.

“Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people.” Luke 5:10

With great thanks, the Painter Family
